The St. Athanasius Alumni Association is hosting its annual ALL CLASS reunion on Sunday, April 18th, 2010. The celebration starts at the 11 A.M. Mass (upper Church) followed by a Luncheon in the Auditorium. The school will host tours from 12:45 P.M. to 2 P.M. in the afternoon. There is still space available for your 7th grade boys and girls to register for our Pre-8th Grade Summer Enrichment Program! The program includes courses specially designed to expand upon the student's current academic ability. Core classes in creative writing and algebra are supplemented by a hands-on computer science course, drama workshop and various athletic activities such as basketball, ping-pong and volleyball. The program runs from Monday, June 28 until Wednesday, July 28.

On 11/9/07 Shannon Austin, one of our young St. Teresa of Avila parishioners, was hit by a car after working our Christmas Bazaar and suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury that has left her, her family, parish and community in a constant struggle to help with bills, round-the-clock care and housing renovations. In light of this, a Beef & Beer Benefit with Raffles and Silent Auction is being held to offset the latest obligations due to surgeries, etc. The NorrisTones will also be performing, along with a DJ! Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy some fellowship! The Benefit is being held at Westover Country Club on Saturday, 3/20/10 from 6:30 to 10:30; Tickets are $35 each with ALL proceeds going to the Shannon Austin Fund. In addition, donations of all kinds (monetary or raffle items) are being accepted to help this event be as successful as possible for Shannon! Celebrate the "Year of the Priest" at a "Concert of Sacred Music" featuring the Archdiocesan All Catholic Secondary Chorus, the Keystone Boychoir, and the "Philadelphia Priest Singers" - a group of our Archdiocesan priests singing sacred music from our heritage.
